One of the must have apps on your iPhone.
When the app Clips originally debuted last April, many just assumed it was another editing tool used to enhance your social media posts. That’s what it did – though similar apps have already been present in the App Store.
The first few versions of Clips offered various ways for you to take short videos and the inclusion of exclusive stickers from Disney slowly made it into one of the must-have apps in your iOS device. Apple even boasted that the app now has more than 1 million monthly unique users, easily making it one of the top apps Apple has made.
But version 2.0 for Clips was teased when the iPhone X was first introduced and promised something new. That update is rolling out now and you’d get to experience various new features such as Selfie Scenes and various new effects.
Selfie Scenes uses the iPhone X’s TrueDepth camera to virtually place you in different locations, including the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. Sadly though it’s a feature only exclusive to the iPhone X.
But Clips 2.0 will bring even more stickers for you to play with, including Star Wars-themed stickers and posters. If you’re a long-time Clips user, you’d notice that the interface has been tweaked a little to provide an easier way for you to use the app.
It’s easily one our favorite free apps at the moment. Clips 2.0 is now available for download at the Apple App Store.
