Facebook wants you to type with your brain
April 20, 2017

It also wants you to ear with your skin.

At its current F8 Developer’s Conference, Facebook just revealed that it is currently working on a technology that would enable humans to type using their brans at a rate of 100 words per minute.

A team of more than 60 scientists and engineers were tasked to make it happen, all part of the research lab Facebook is calling ‘silent speech communications’.

Also part of the new technology is enabling humans to listen through their skin, where it is currently building the right software and hardware needed to make it happen.

We’ve heard similar concepts in the past, but it is interesting to know that a big company like Facebook is offering total support towards technologies like this. Privacy concerns aside, we’re curious to see how it evolves in the future.
