It’s located in Dubai of course.

Arabian Business is reporting that Snap, Inc., the makers of the widely popular Snapchat app, has opened its doors in the Middle East. It’s first office is located in Dubai with an aim to target local markets in the region, with a main focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The app, which currently has more than 150 million daily active users worldwide, has become a phenomenon. It now ranks as one of the most widely used forms of social media in the world.

Hussein Freijeh, who had a prominent role with Maktoob (which was then brought over by Yahoo), will be heading the operations in Dubai.
