It’s actually a hack rather than a real song.
If you’re an iPhone user who uses a USB cable to connect it to your car, then you must know the frustration that happens when you plug it in. If you’re not familiar, once you plug in your iPhone to your car using USB the music immediately starts playing. It’s a simple annoyance by some iOS users that wondered why Apple hasn’t rectified the issue.
The problem is that it will start playing the exact same song automatically and usually it’s the first song on an alphabetized list to be played. This solution, which was made by Samir Mezrahi, is basically a 10-minute silent song titled “A a a a a Very Good Song” meaning that it will always be at the top of every playlist. The 10-minute song should be enough to give you time to select your own playlist instead of scrambling to change it right away. This applies to your own downloaded music saved on your iPhone. Samir’s “A a a a a Very Good Song” is also available on iTunes, and has quickly risen to the Top 50 most downloaded songs on the platform, even beating other artists such as Macklemore and 21 Savage.
The song costs $0.99, which is a small price to pay as a workaround. Of course, you can also add your own silent song – it’s just that buying it from the iTunes store is an easier alternative.
