Let’s check out this latest PlayStation 4 exclusive.
Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the few anticipated games of 2017 – and when it finally released, it didn’t disappoint. The game follows the character Aloy battling animal-like machines set in a post-apocalyptic future where man is now on the brink of extinction.
The game’s plot establish the missions straight away, with a vast open world scenery you will get to explore as you progress further into the game. This includes fighting off machines that range from small to equally massive – with weapons and tools that you can acquire and upgrade.
With a rich story, Horizon Zero Dawn brings hard hitting combat to the gameplay, and while it may seem repetitive, the game lets you accomplish these missions in any way that you want.
The open world setting means that there are numerous side quests to be done even after you have finished the main story. I’ve logged in more than 60 hours of gameplay and saw my progress only at 31 percent since I did not complete the side missions.
And did we mention the graphics? Horizon Zero Dawn boasts some of the best-looking graphics we’ve seen in a video game, offering picture perfect scenery and lifelike characters. Just like other PS4 exclusives like Uncharted and The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn is one game you shouldn’t miss.
