It’s less than 9 mm thick!
As CES 2018 commences this week in Las Vegas, Acer has just announced its newest Swift 7 notebook that now holds the title as the ‘World’s Thinnest Laptop’. The notebook measures only 8.98 mm thick, and runs the latest Core i7 CPU running Windows 10.
Looks-wise, it still resembles a normal ultraportable notebook. The Swift 7 features a 14-inch full HD display that’s also touchscreen enabled. There’s also a backlit keyboard and even a fingerprint sensor.
On the inside, Acer has packed the Swift 7 with the latest Intel processor along with 8 GB of RAM plus 256 GB of PCIe-based storage. The best part is that even with the thinness of the device, it can still give you about 10 hours of usage on a single charge.
Aside from the usual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the Acer Swift 7 also features a 4G LTE modem, meaning that it can support a nano SIM card that you can use as an alternative whenever Wi-Fi is not available.
Pricing for the Acer Swift 7 will start at $1,699. We will update with the local pricing and availability once the information becomes available.
