Acer’s new devices will be released later this year.
Acer has just announced a new wave of computing devices fit for any user. These devices are on showcase at CES 2018 in Las Vegas and are scheduled to release later this year. Let’s have a look:
Acer Swift 7 as we reported earlier was announced, citing it as ‘the world’s thinnest laptop’ that measures only 8.98 mm thin. Specs include an Intel Core i7 processor along with a promise of an all-day battery life. The Swift 7 will be released this May with a starting price of 6240 AED.
The Acer Spin 3 is the company’s latest multifunction device that can act as a laptop, tablet and a display. It’s now powered by the 8th-gen Intel Core processor along with a 14-inch screen and up to 12 hours of battery life. The Acer Spin 3 will also be available in May with a starting price of 2200 AED.
Acer also announces the Nitro 5 gaming notebook that now features AMD’s latest Ryzen processor along with AMD Radeon graphics. It also features Acer’s NitroSense technology that monitors the CPU and the GPU and adjusts the cooling fans accordingly. The Acer Nitro 5 will arrive in May will sell at 2935 AED.
Acer has also introduced a new version of their Chromebook that now features 10 hours battery life along with a fanless design. You also have the option of to have a touch or non-touch display along with built-in support for Google Play so you can fully run apps on the Chromebook. The Acer Chromebook 11 will arrive in March, and prices start at 914.61 AED.
Lastly is V6820M/i, which is a 4K projector from Acer that comes built in with support for Amazon’s Alexa. Aside from supporting 4K HDR content, this projector includes Acer’s AcuMotion technology that interpolates frames to make moving images more seamless. Availability and pricing is yet to be announced, but we will update this news item once the information becomes available.
