JBL has announced a plethora of new devices during CES 2018 in Las Vegas, but one that caught out attention is their latest smart speaker that features an 8-inch touchscreen that’s also powered by Google Assistant.

Called the JBL Link View, the device also includes a 5-megapixel camera along with dual 10-watt stereo speaker along with a passive radiator at the back for the best low frequency effect.

Other features of the JBL Link View include casting support so you can stream music from your smartphone directly to the speaker along with Google Cast support for streaming music in different rooms. There’s also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth along with splash resistance.

A detailed explanation of its features is presented in the press release: “The LINK View provides excellent sound quality, and is ideal for anyone that consumes a large amount of content daily. Users can view pictures, stream audio and video, ask questions, scan recipes, and video call with family and friends, all with their voice.”

No pricing details are available at the moment, but JBL said they’re looking to launch the Link View this summer.
