CES 2019 takes place next week.
Sony typically announces its new devices during Mobile World Congress every February, but it looks like the company is prepping for a huge announcement at next week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2019) in Las Vegas.
An invite was sent to the media about a press conference happening on January 7th where it will be showcasing of its latest technologies. This includes the introduction of 5G along with a peek at Sony’s midrange and entry-level devices.
These devices are rumored to be the Xperia XA3, Xperia XA3 Ultra, and the Xperia L3. While there will be a noticeable difference in pricing for the devices, all of them will reportedly feature an 18:9 display, dual rear cameras plus an exterior made from glass and aluminum. We can also expect these devices to have Android 9 Pie running out of the box.
The three devices are planned to go on sale by February, with Sony reserving the high Xperia XZ4 and Xperia XZ4 Compact for MWC 2019.
