That’s six times faster than traditional displays.

Today at CES 2020, Nvidia and Asus have just announced a new gaming monitor that comes with a crazy 360Hz refresh rate. This is designed for Esports gamers and enthusiasts, where a faster refresh can mean the difference between victory and defeat.

The 24.5-inch Asus ROG Swift 360’s 360Hz refresh rate means that it can display game frames once every 2.8 ms, which is 6 times faster when compared to traditional monitors and TVs. Available later this year, the G-Sync compatible ROG Swift 360 will be on display during CES 2020 and of course, pairs perfectly with any GeForce RTX GPU.

In the last few years, Esports has quickly risen at a phenomenal rate where around $211 million in prizes have been given away just this year alone. Even in viewership numbers, more than 450 million gamers have tuned in to watch competitive tournaments.

Since its introduction in 2013, Nvidia’s G-Sync technology has allowed gamers to enjoy Variable Refresh Rates on compatible hardware. It helps synchronize the refresh rate of the display with the GPU’s frame rate, which in turn helps improve the gaming experience with increased accuracy.

The Asus ROG Swift 360 will be on display at Nvidia’s press suite at the Wynn Hotel during CES 2020.
