Sony at CES 2020: New lineup of products and services introduced

The company highlights its evolution as a “Creative Entertainment Company with a Solid Foundation of Technology”.

During Sony’s CES 2020 keynote in Las Vegas, Nevada, the company has highlighted its commitment to delivering products and services that resonate with people. “Creativity is a powerful driving force that moves Sony forward. When it is combined with our technology, it is unstoppable,” said Sony Corporation’s President & CEO Kenichiro Yoshida during the keynote.

First up is PlayStation, where we got a look at the new logo for the console that will arrive later this year. Sony also touted that more than 106 million PS4 units have already been sold worldwide along with the PlayStation Network has reached 103 million active users. 

Next is a new prototype vehicle that incorporates different imaging and sensing technologies that help improve autonomous driving. The vehicle also features highly-advanced electronics that comes with a one-of-a-kind in-car entertainment experience.

Called, Vision-S, this prototype vehicle is being showcased at the company’s booth where you’ll get to see and experience the various technologies that make it different from other autonomous cars.

Along with that, various new products from camcorders to cameras that use AI-based real-time video analytics technologies.

Of course, a new wave of Bravia TVs is also part of the show. This includes the new 8K LED TV that’s part of the Z8H series along with the A8H OLED-based TVs.
