New notebooks feature Asus ScreenPad 2.0.

Right before the start of Computex 2019, Asus gave the media a hands-on of its upcoming devices that will be launched during the show. A bunch of these devices included new and models from the ZenBook and VivoBook line.

ZenBook 13/14/15

All of Asus’ new ZenBook models, the ZenBook 13 (UX334), ZenBook 14 (UX434) and ZenBook 15 (UX534) now feature the new Asus ScreenPad 2.0. This new secondary screen not only acts as a trackpad but all adds new productivity tools that should benefit your everyday needs. The icons can be placed in a way that you want, much like a smartphone. Asus is also offering an API for the ScreenPad so that developers can take advantage of the interface.

Additionally, the new ZenBook features a frameless NanoEdge display that allows the laptop to have a 95-percent screen-to-body ratio for a slimmer profile.

Asus also didn’t dial down on specifications for the new ZenBooks – you have a choice of using the new 8th-generation Intel Core i7 quad-core CPUs and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics. There’s also 16 GB of RAM along with ultrafast SSDs and Wi-Fi 5.

Exclusive ZenBook Edition 30

A new exclusive limited-edition ZenBook Edition 30 (UX334FL) is also being launched to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Asus. This ZenBook features a luxurious Pearl White color that also includes a hand-crafted Italian leather lid cover. There’s also the Rose Gold anodized diamond-cut edges and trim bar along with an 18-karat rose-gold plated 30th-anniversary logo on the lid.

These ZenBooks also feature the ErgoLift hinge design that tilts the keyboard for a better typing experience along with improved cooling.

VivoBook S14/S15

Asus has also launched the new VivoBook S14 (S431 / S432) and VivoBook S15 (S531 / S532). These ultraportable laptops also feature ScreenPad 2.0 and come with five color-blocking finished that make it a stand out.

The VivoBook also inherits the ZenBook’s ErgoLift design and NanoEdge display. Inside, you will find an Intel Core i7 processor along with an Nvidia GeForce MX250 plus 1 TB of storage. These VivoBook models will also be the first models to get an infrared camera and support for Wi-Fi 6. The entire notebook also just comes in at 1.4 kilograms for the S14 and 1.8 kilograms for the S15.

Pricing and availability in the Middle East will be revealed soon.
