To be rebuilt as ‘NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…’.

Square Enix just released a teaser trailer confirming that they’re building the classic game Nier Replicant 9 years after the original game was released. Renamed as NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, the third-person RPG will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will bring players into a dark, post-apocalyptic world where you get to play a man looking to find a cure for his sister’s deadly disease. The game will be developed in collaboration with Toylogic and brings together a development team that includes director Yoko Taro who also made NieR Automata along with Tekken composer Keiichi Okabe.

The developers said that the release of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will give gamers the opportunity to enjoy the original success of NieR Automata that was released in 2017.

As an added bonus for Xbox One users, gamers who are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass will be able to play NieR Automata when it comes to the service on April 2nd.
