Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to come with a Battle Royale mode?
April 18, 2018

Looks like the single player campaign won’t be available.

The increasing popularity of the battle royale genre in games like PUBG and Fortnite may have influenced the makers of Call of Duty to introduce the same mode with its upcoming installment.

Now, multiple sources have somehow confirmed the new mode might be replacing the campaign mode that always accompanies the game. This means that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 would no longer include a story mode/single player campaign which might disappoint some gamers.

Still, the introduction of a battle royale mode could also be a great feature for the game, which has always been known for its multiplayer gaming modes. Adding this new mode might entice more gamers into the series.

Activision hasn’t commented on the rumor, so there’s still a good chance that this report isn’t true – though many are welcoming the new feature.
