The game will release next January.
We’re already familiar with different video game edition that ranges from the standard game-only discs to full-blown limited edition that can sometimes cost an arm and a leg. For the upcoming release of Resident Evil 2 Remake, a premium edition costing $900 will be sold when it releases early next year.
Especially made for Japanese consumers (and it looks like it is going to be only available there), the premium edition of Biohazard RE: 2 Z Version Premium Edition (that’s how it’s being called there) will include a Bluetooth keyboard styled in the way of a traditional Lexington typewriter, a staple part of the earlier Resident Evil games where it was used as a save point.
The full-size keyboard will have a battery that could last up to seven days and will be compatible with Windows and macOS machines and even iOS and Android devices.
Additionally, the premium edition will also include the copy of Resident Evil 2 Remake, a DLC pass, the soundtrack CD, an art book and a statue of Leon Kennedy.
Resident Evil 2 Remake will release for the PS4m Xbox One and PC on January 25th, 2019.
