‘It’s About Time’ is a sequel to the original trilogy.

22 years after the last of the Crash Bandicoot trilogy was released, we’re finally getting a true sequel to the original series. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time picks up from the last game, where the defeated enemies in the likes of Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Tropy, and Uka Uka escape the planet where they’ve been stranded that rips space and time.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will sill have the same elements of the original trilogy, this sequel will bring new gaming mechanics like wall-running and rope swinging. There will also be Quantum Masks that will allow you to run on the ceiling or even slow down time.

Toys for Bob is developing the sequel, who are responsible for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. This should give an indication that this new installment should be as fun as the original. Naughty Dog, now known for the Uncharted and The Last of Us series, originally created Crash Bandicoot for the original PlayStation in 1998 and was an instant hit.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time arrives on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020. The game is now available for pre-order.
