Five years after the Xbox One.
Electronic Arts have just announced today that it is now bringing EA Access to the to PS4 users. EA Access is the company’s subscription service that lets you pay a monthly fee for accessing a library of EA games that gets updated regularly. EA Access is already available on the Xbox One, and Sony initially wasn’t onboard in bringing EA Access to the PS4, saying that its current PS Plus service offers a better value.
Starting in July, you can pay $4.99 monthly and get to play some of EA’s famous titles like Dead Space, Titanfall, Battlefield and Mass Effect – which if you look at it, is already good value. You’ll also get access to early trials and even a 10 percent discount when purchasing a digital game or DLC.
Note that if you have an existing EA Access account on the Xbox One, you won’t be able to use your subscription on the PS4, meaning that you will need to purchase a separate subscription.
But at least you get access to all these games, right?
