Game On: The Last of Us Part II is coming next year!
September 25, 2019

February 2020 release date announced.

During PlayStation’s State of Play event last night, we finally know when the Naughty Dog sequel The Last of Us Part II is releasing: February 21, 2020. After years of being teased on different gaming events, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing that one of the most-awaited games for the PS4 is coming next year.

The announcement was accompanied by a trailer (watch it above) that showcases various gameplay mechanics in the games which features familiar moves originally present on the first game. We also got a first glimpse at Joel, who everyone thought died based on the first trailer released a couple of years ago.

The Last of Us was one of the best games released for the PS3 in 2013, and it gained more fans after a remastered version was released for PS4. The game brings a new twist to the survival genre that not only combined action and horror but masterful storytelling that made it won numerous awards in the past years.

The Last of Us Part II will pick up years after where the first game ended, with an adult Ellie continuing a fight against an unknown cult. There’s little to know about the plot, but the trailer is enough for fans of the first game to get excited.
