Schedules and details for the Middle East region have been announced.
The BenQ ZOWIE-sponsored eXTREMESLAND CS: GO Asia Open 2019 has just kicked off and is now including more countries around the APAC region. This will be the fourth year that BenQ ZOWIE has sponsored the event, where everyone will fight for the last man standing to get the coveted title.
It is now known that the Middle East houses some of the most competitive teams in Esports, where last year’s regional champions, NASR Esports, are based. The next tournament will see these teams along with second placer MVP PK from Korea, battle it out at an event in Shanghai happening on November 14-17, 2019.
Seven national champions will be joining NASR Esports during the MIddle East finals that will take place at Exile Gaming in Dubai, UAE on September 27-28th, 2019. Interested teams can register here: https://forms.gle/GNj9k6zq7RzMuju59.
Registration dates happened last August 20-20th, with national qualifiers happening the past month in Jordan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Turkey, KSA, and the UAE.
The Middle East finals will feature seven national champions, along with one invited team, NASR Esports. A total of eight teams will compete in a GSL format:
- 8 teams – 2 groups (4 each)
- Each group plays 5 games (BO1)
- Top 2 teams from each group proceed to the semi-finals
- Semi-Finals – BO3 single elimination
- Finals – BO3. Top two teams will represent the Middle-East at this year’s ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND CS: GO Asia Open 2019.
