EA is looking to bring the hit game to iOS and Android users.
Apex Legends somehow took a chunk of the player crowd from PUBG and Fortnite, this battle-royale game from EA proved to be a massive hit, with millions of players supporting the game since launch. The only drawback is that Apex Legends is only available on consoles and PC, unlike its competitors that have their games available on nearly every platform.
But that’s about change as EA confirmed that it is already looking to bring Apex Legends to smartphones. Speaking with The Verge, it confirmed that it is already in advanced talks to bring the game to its respective formats but didn’t elaborate on when that would happen. With smartphones now having the technology to deliver high-quality graphics, it’s just a matter of time until we see it in the same league as consoles.
“We are in advanced negotiations to bring Apex Legends to China and to mobile, and we will update you on time frames when those negotiations are concluded. We are self-publishing Apex Legends in Korea,” EA said in a statement.
