One of the PS4’s best games is arriving on the next-gen console.

With the PS5 releasing this November, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is already one of the top launch games that we can’t wait to play. We were even more excited when Insomniac Games said that a remastered version of 2018’s Spider-Man will also be released… with a catch.

Insomniac first mentioned that Marvel’s Spider-Man will get the increased graphical benefits like ray tracing, plus faster loading time. The game will be bundled as part of the Ultimate Launch Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales that’s releasing on the same day as the PS5.

That being said, the developers said that the remastered Spider-Man is only accessible by purchasing Spider-Man: Miles Morales and that a physical version won’t be available. Additionally, you won’t be able to migrate your progress of the game from the PS4 to the PS5, meaning that you need to play through the entire game again if you want to complete the trophies.

For those not upgrading to the PS5 yet, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also be available on the PS4. The game releases this November.
