A fan got to play Super Smash Bros. ahead of its December release.
Chris Taylor may be one of the millions of Nintendo fans who simply couldn’t wait for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launching for the Nintendo Switch on December 7. But unfortunately for this Nintendo fan, he may not be able to live long enough to play the game.
Taylor has been diagnosed with a form of bone cancer which he has been battling for the past three years and earlier this year he decided to end the treatment. “I am a little worried that smash’ll be out of reach for my lifespan though and that mega sucks if I’m being real with yall,” he said in a statement. He was hoping that he can at least get to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (along with Isaac: Repentance and Devil May Cry 5) before he passes.
Nintendo seems to have gotten the message, evident by the images that Taylor tweeted showing him and his friends playing the game.
