Nvidia’s ‘RTX 2080’ is gearing up for launch
August 15, 2018

An announcement could be made during Gamescom.

Rumors are floating around that Nvidia could be preparing to launch its next-generation GTX GeForce GPUs during next week’s Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. The company has even released a teaser video that gives some clues on what we could expect.

These new GTX GeForce cards will be based on the Turing GPU architecture that can deliver even more realistic graphics effects that used to be difficult to render in real-time.

The video ends with an image of a new GPU, which users are pointing out to be RTX 2080 as evidence may suggest. The graphics card could also come with GDDR6 memory that should be able to churn out 4K 60 fps graphics on your games.

More should be revealed during Gamescom on August 20th so stay tuned.
