The game is now declared ‘complete’.

Terraria is already considered one of the best games released on previous and current-gen consoles and the PC. Released in 2011, it has amassed fans from all over the world, praising its fun sandbox elements and has already sold more than 30 million copies.

After 9 years, developer Re-Logic is releasing The Journey’s End which will be Terraria’s final update 9 years after it has launched. “This update has been a labor of love, tirelessly worked on by our team over a good while, and we truly feel that it brings Terraria to the next level, to a place where the core game can finally be called ‘complete’,” the company said in a blog post.

The Journey’s End update will bring a ‘Journey Mode’ along with a ‘Master Mode’ where you can take on more challenging levels. After the last update was announced, there has been a renewed interest in the game, where Steam reported that there have been 54,000 concurrent players.

The developers also said that after Terraria’s last update rolls out, it can now start focusing on a new game.
