It was bound to happen.

PUBG Corp, the makers of the hit game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is taking Epic Games to court. The company has accused the makers of Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode of copyright infringement. The lawsuit was filed in Seoul Central District in South Korea.

PUBG Corp originally mentioned that they were already concerned about the release of Fortnite last September since it bears similar gaming experiences to PUBG. It even acknowledged its ongoing relationship with Epic Games, who also made UE4, the main game engine used for PUBG.

There’s no official word yet from both parties regarding the lawsuit. But we will keep you posted as soon as the information becomes available.

But now the main question asks, do you prefer PUBG or Fortnite? Sound off your thoughts in the comments below!
