Your Nintendo Switch can now be used as a VR headset

A Labo VR Kit was just launched by Nintendo.

In an unexpected move, Nintendo has just announced a new VR kit that can be used with the Switch. This VR kit is part of the Labo cardboard-building platform, which was launched earlier last year.

There will be two versions of the Labo VR Kit: a full set that includes the googles, five different cardboards, and the software and another starter kit that includes the googles and one of the designs.

Launching next month, the Nintendo Switch will act as the main display when using the VR kit. It will only be able to play the software the includes various mini-games in VR but it won’t exactly let you play Super Mario Oddysey in VR.

While it might seem unexpected that Nintendo is launching a VR device, it’s actually proof that the company has lots of plans for the Nintendo Switch and its Labo accessories.
