GTA V for PC launch delayed until March
January 14, 2015

It will be released on March 24, 2015 instead.

Grand Theft Auto V broke records when it was first released for previous generation consoles last year. It made even more money when the updated versions for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One were introduced. The PC version was initially announced to release alongside the next-gen consoles last fall, but it was then delayed to January 2015.

Unfortunately, Rockstar Games said in a statement that it will be postponing the release date to March 24, 2015 since the game still requires some extra weeks of testing to make it nice and ‘polished’.

While it may disappoint some fans have been eagerly waiting for the game to be released on the platform, it may be a good thing since we can at least expect a bug-free gameplay by the time the game has launched.

Rockstar Games has also announced the system requirements of the PC version, which can support gameplay resolutions of 1080p at 60 fps along with 4K resolution support. Below are the minimum and recommended specifications to run the game.

Our review of the PlayStation 4 version of Grand Theft Auto V called it a game that “…presents a rather intricate look at a city that looks so alive thanks to all the small details.

If everything goes on schedule, Grand Theft Auto V for PC should release on March 24, 2015.
