Played by Fast & Furious star Gal Gadot.
This year’s San Diego Comic Con was definitely filled with surprise announcements and appearances. The 2016 release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice seems so far away, but that didn’t stop director Zack Snyder from showing off images from the much-anticipated follow-up to Man of Steel.
The initial image Snyder posted on his Twitter account is the image of the Batmobile along with Ben Affleck’s (rather sad) first look at his take on the Dark Knight.
Another image was followed by Superman himself played by Henry Cavill and even included an image of him dressed as a Jedi with a red lightsaber – which somehow foretells that he might be a villain in the next movie.
But the biggest surprise Snyder did was when he tweeted the first image of the Amazonian warrior Wonder woman played by Gal Gadot from the Fast & Furious movies. Her costume moves away from the usual red and blue color scheme of the titular DC Comics character, and somehow reminds me of Xena: Warrior Princess.
We’d have to wait and see more on how the movies gets teased over the next year. Look for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in theaters 2016. What do you think of the new Wonder Woman? Let us know!
