Just Dance Now: Dance with your smartphone

September 30, 2014

New game from Ubisoft lets you use your smartphone as a motion controller to play the game.

Love dancing? Chances are you’ve already tried all those dance games available for consoles. While those games need extra equipment for you to be able to play them, Just Dance Now tries to be unique by simply letting you use your smartphone to play.

The game itself can be accessed online or any internet-connected screen. You would need to download an app for your smartphone (available for iOS and Android), and head on to www.JustDanceNow.com. The app will sync with the game automatically and you can then start dancing away.

The app uses the built-in accelerometers and gyroscope inside your smartphone to determine if you are doing the moves right. There currently 5 free songs to access, and you have the option to subscribe to play an unlimited number of songs. There are about 50 tracks available.
