Here are the top trailers you might have missed the past week.
The last few months of 2019 are upon us, but that doesn’t mean that Hollywood has run out of movies to show. In fact, with awards season starting at the end of the year, you can expect more movies to arrive before we say goodbye to 2019. Here are some of the new movie trailers that debuted in the past week:
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be the last film in the Skywalker saga that started in 1977, which is why many are hoping that this last movie will be the best – and judging from the new it looks like we won’t be disappointed.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is probably one of the most awaited releases this year. It’s a movie that continues the story of Jesse Pinkman after the events of the last episode of Breaking Bad. The movie streams this October on Netflix.
Ad Astra looks like another awesome space movie in the veins of Gravity and The Martian. Brad Pitt stars as an astronaut who’s been tasked to find his father in deep space.
Antlers is another horror movie produced the one and only Guillermo Del Toro. The trailer doesn’t reveal much, but we’re already scared just watching it.
Bombshell features three of the biggest stars in Hollywood playing famous journalists: Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson, Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly, and Margot Robbie as Kayla Pospisil.
Jexi looks like a funny comedy that’s made for techies. Adam Devine stars in this movie who really loves his smartphone, where the most famous feature is Jexi, the phone’s virtual assistant ala Siri.
Lady and the Tramp is another live-action Disney remake of the classic animated movie. But it won’t show in theaters, it will instead stream exclusively on Disney+ that’s debuting on November 12th.
Motherless Brooklyn stars the awesome Edward Norton who also directs. He plays a private detective that is suffering from Tourette’s Syndrome who’s determined to solve the murder of his friend.
Noelle is a Christmas movie debuting on Disney+. The film stars Anna Kendrick who plays Santa’s daughter.
Rambo: Last Blood is a guilty pleasure and while succeeding installments aren’t good, we’re still excited to see John Rambo in his supposedly last movie.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance evokes the same feel as the original 80’s film, which makes us even more excited about this Netflix prequel show.
Underwater looks like Alien set in well, underwater. Kirsten Stewart headlines the cast, which also gives some Ripley-like vibes.
