Here’s your first look at Captain Marvel!
September 18, 2018

The movie comes out this March.

If you were smart enough to stay behind for the post-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War, then you may have seen a glimpse of Nick Fury beeping in a certain someone right before he turns to ashes. If you’re wise enough to see whose insignia that is, then it belongs to none other than Captain Marvel.

Captain Marvel will be the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to have a female lead. Captain Marvel, or Carol Danvers as comic book fans know her, will be played by Academy Award winner Brie Larson.

Marvel Studios has already mentioned that the movie will take us back to the 90’s, though it won’t be an origin story. Larson is joined by Marvel veterans Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg, Djimon Hounsou, and Lee Pace alongside new cast members that include Ben Mendelsohn, Gemma Chan, and Jude Law.

Captain Marvel arrives in theaters on March 8th, 2019 followed by the still untitled fourth installment of the Avengers.
