Movie Trailer Roundup: Fast cars and fast zombies
April 20, 2021

Here are the new movie trailers that you may have missed.

Having been spoiled with a few good films like Mortal Kombat, Godzilla Vs. Kong, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League in the past few months, it’s good to know that there are a few more upcoming movies worth seeing. The best part? Some of these new releases debuts straight to streaming so there’s no need for you to get out of your house to see it.

Check out some of the new movie trailers that came out this week:

Army of the Dead

Zack Snyder directs another zombie movie that takes place in a run-down Las Vegas. Don’t expect slow-moving zombies though, as you can see on the trailer the zombies are now smarter. Maybe the result of eating too many brains? Army of the Dead streams on Netflix on May 21st.

The Underground Railroad

This movie is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel written by Colson Whitehead and tells the story of Cora Randall, who is being pursued by a bounty hunter after escaping a Georgia plantation. All episodes will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video on May 14th.

Fast and Furious 9

One last ride? Not exactly. The Fast Saga’s ninth instalment may have been delayed last year, but it has now set a new and hopefully final release date on June 25th. Expect crazy stunts and action that should make Michael Bay jealous.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

In celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary, we have a new anime movie that takes Resident Evil 2 characters Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield inside The White House where something bad is about to happen (you may already know what it is). Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness streams on Netflix this July.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Marvel Studios’ next big superhero is debuting in July and will re-introduce the Mandarin and the Ten Rings, villains who were highlighted in the first and third Iron Man movies.
