Movie Trailer Roundup: From Maverick to Wonder Woman
December 17, 2019

Here are the latest movie trailers that you may have missed.

2020 will bring in another batch of highly-anticipated movies that range from the usual superhero movie to some interestingly original content. The past two weeks saw a bunch of new trailers come out, so we’re rounding some of the new movie trailers that you may have missed:

Wonder Woman 1984 – Diana Prince is back in this retro-filled sequel to Wonder Woman. The music sounds awesome, and while we’re still thinking how Steve Trevor comes back it’s easily on the most-anticipated superhero movies to release next year.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife – It looks like Sony doesn’t want this franchise to be forgotten. Afterlife is a direct sequel to the first Ghostbusters movie, which brings back the original cast – though they’re noticeably absent from the trailer. We have to wait and see if this movie brings the same humor and fun that the first movie has been loved for.

In The Heights – Fans of musicals should have something to like about In The Heights since it’s based on the stage musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The Witcher – Not really a movie, but unless you’re not seeing The Rise of Skywalker this weekend you binge-watch the TV show based on the popular game.

Free Guy – Who knew Ryan Reynolds as a background character in a video game would be so much fun.

Black Widow – Marvel Studios is back with Natasha Romanoff’s solo movie. While we all know how her story ends in Avengers: Endgame, we’ll get to see how her story began.

Top Gun: Maverick – Tom Cruise is back with this sequel to Top Gun. Much of the trailer showcased what we loved about the first film, which is one of the reasons why we’re excited to see it.
