T3’s Top MCU Moments (Part 2)
April 23, 2019

Here are more top moments from the franchise.

You can check out Part 1 of this list here.

Let’s finish off this list with the second half of our top favorite moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Avengers: Age of Ultron – Assemble!

Every Avengers movie always has an awesome group shot – and this one is no exception. In one final face-off with Ultron, the Avengers, who are now joined by Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch all unite to defeat him.

Ant-Man – Luis’ story

Ant-Man may be one of the MCU’s lighter and funnier characters, but Luis is probably the one that has fans laughing all throughout – especially when he starts telling his story.

Captain America: Civil War – Airport Fight

Probably one of the most memorable fight scenes in the MCU, where you get to see comic-book style fights that would definitely make you smile with glee.

Doctor Strange – ‘Dormammu, I’ve come to bargain’

While the entire movie deals with time, we didn’t realize that it will also be a tool that will be used by Doctor Strange to defeat Dormammu. It’s equally awesome and hilarious at the same time, with some even noting that the time loop happened for thousands of years, allowing Strange to further develop his powers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – Yondu’s sacrifice

Yondu didn’t really strike a tone with audiences on the first movie, but with Part 2, he easily became one of the most well-loved characters in the franchise.

Spider-Man: Homecoming – ‘What the F–’

Homecoming had a lot of awesome moments, especially the comedic tone of Peter Parker who’s still in high school. But our favorite would probably be Aunt May learning about Peter’s secret identity, hilariously showcased with a literal WTF moment.

Thor: Ragnarok – God of Hammers

Ragnarok may have gone to a more comedic route, but this scene showcases that Thor doesn’t always need his hammer to be powerful. It’s an even more awesome scene when Immigrant Song starts playing.

Black Panther – Killmonger’s Death

Black Panther was a massive critical and financial success and nearly every scene in the movie is something worth remembering. For us, it’s when T’Challa beats Killmonger, it’s heartbreaking but emotionally satisfying – especially when T’Challa offered to heal him but he chose to die instead.

Avengers: Infinity War – The Battle of Wakanda/The Forge

Infinity War had a lot of fan crazy moments but the most memorable one would definitely be the battle in Wakanda intertwined with the scenes where Thor forges Stormbreaker. It’s a tense sequence, but I nearly stood up cheering when Thor finally arrives to join the battle.

Ant-Man and the Wasp – The Post-Credits Scene

This Ant-Man sequel had its moments, especially with details about the Quantum Realm which we know by know could be one of the ways on how the Avengers will defeat Thanos. The movie’s all laughs, but it takes on a serious tone when the post-credits scene starts rolling and we finally learn that it takes place at the same place during Infinity War, ending with Ant-Man trapped in the Quantum Realm and with Hope, Janet, and Hank being decimated.

Captain Marvel – Also the post-credits scene

The recently-released Captain Marvel (it’s still playing in cinemas actually) also gave us a great introduction to the character of Carol Danvers. While the whole movie gave us an origin story about the new member of the Avengers, it’s the post-credits scene where Carol finally meets the team that got us all excited.
