Netflix’s TV app gets a redesign
July 19, 2018

A better way to discover content.

Netflix is introducing a new layout to its TV app so that you can discover more content easily. “We realize that there so many great stories on the service, and that sometimes our members need a little bit of help figuring out where to start,” the company said in a blog post.

The new layout will see most of the navigational buttons located on the left side. It easily lets you browse movies and series per category, along with an easier way to access your personal list and the search button.

The rest of the interface still resembles the same grid-like structure that we already know on its TV app, with live previews playing in the background.

“While this may feel like an obvious update to some, validating that this TV experience was better for our members took extensive research, testing, and technology improvements. Along those lines, we will continuously learn from our members and evolve the TV experience so that it gets even more simple, fun and easy to find the stories that make Netflix great,” the company added.

The new interface is now rolling out to all subscribers globally.
