Nintendo will release a new ‘Zelda’ game, but it won’t be on the Switch
May 16, 2017

It’s coming to your smartphone.

With the enormous success of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, rumors say that Nintendo is planning to bring a new Zelda game made for mobile devices which is scheduled to release later this year.

While this is in line with the company’s promise to bring more games to mobile devices like smartphones and tablets,  and a big win for Zelda fans who prefer playing the game other than Nintendo’s consoles.

It was reported that the game will be developed with DeNA. At the moment, Nintendo has released Miitomo, Fire Emblem Heroes and the hugely successful Super Mario Run.

No word yet on what Zelda game it would be, but we’re pretty sure it won’t be as epic as The Breath of the Wild. Still, as one of the most popular video game characters, Zelda will prove to be a hit on mobile devices, no matter what type of game it may be.
