The hit PlayStation-exclusive game will come to stage in a one-night only performance.
The Last of Us was one of the best games I have played. The engaging narrative and excellent voice acting made the game one of the best games of 2013. In what seems to be a first of its kind, Naughty Dog is bringing the hit game to the theatrical stage to coincide with the game’s release on the PlayStation 4.
“One Night Live will highlight the artistry behind The Last of Us with a live reading of select scenes by the principal actors, under the direction of Neil Druckmann from Naughty Dog. Scheduled to appear are Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, Merle Dandridge, Hana Hayes, and Annie Wersching,” said Geoff Keighley producer of the one-night event which will be called The Last of Us: One Night Live. Gustavo Santaolalla will also perform the game’s score live for the audience in what they say will be a very special evening.
The performance will be on July 28th and will be held at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. Tickets are now sold out, but worry not since PlayStation will be live streaming the performance on Twitch, YouTube and even PlayStation’s Live Event Viewer.
The Last of Us: Remastered will be available for PlayStation 4 on July 29th and will feature updated graphics and textures along with all DLCs and add-ons.
