January 18, 2015

Filming starts on the same house Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak built the first Apple computer in 1976.

Filming for the Steve Jobs movie has been in development hell for a couple of months now, with a plethora of casting rumors and changes that plagued the production of the film. But everything seems to be moving forward with the production as confirmed by CNET, which showed the legendary garage where it shows that is has been restored to a 70’s look.

Produced by Universal Studios (after Sony Pictures dropped the film), the Steve Jobs biopic will be based on the official biography Walter Isaacson and will be directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire). Written by Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network), the movie currently stars Michael Fassbinder as Steve Jobs, Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak and Jeff Daniels as John Sculley. Rumors also suggest Kate Winslet will play Laurene Powell-Jobs, Steve’s wife.

The movie was stuck in development stages for the past year, shifting from original planned director David Fincher with Christian Bale originally playing the famed ex-Apple CEO.
