Turn your Chromecast into a console

March 19, 2015

New game for Android turns your smartphone into a tennis racket.

Developer Rolocule recently launched the Motion Tennis Case game that lets you use your Android smartphone as a Wii-like remote that can be used as controller to play the game.

Simply install the game and see how your opponent battles you in a game of tennis. In the game, you can choose between four levels of difficulty along with two types of gameplay. You also have the option to connect the game to your social networking profiles and battle with friends. The fun part? It can tell you how many calories you have burned.

The developers said that it is also enabling Android Wear support on the game so that you can use your wearable instead of your smartphone to do the swings.

It’s not the best game, but it shows how the Chromecast definitely has a future being an entry level console.
