Advanced solutions introduced for education and industries.
During GITEX Technology Week 2020, many companies have showcased new technologies and services that aim to support users during the COVID-19 pandemic. For Etisalat, it is showing how its advanced solutions can help support education and industries during the pandemic.
Some of the solutions include a demo-tutoring platform that works on tablets and LCD screens where teachers can easily interact with students. This solution includes real-time annotations and can even share resources plus an AI-powered search for improved learning. Called the National Tutoring Platform, this tool helps schedule tutoring sessions along with a live session notebook and a personalized revision library.
There is also an AI-based access control that can check the student’s attendance using face readers, which visitors can check out at GITEX Technology Week. This tool also tracks the student’s attention, focus, and even mental performance.
Even Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are being utilized to offer solutions that can help reduce downtime periods in factories in cases where human workers need to stay at home.
“During this unprecedented period that has challenged both health and the economy, Etisalat has taken many steps to ensure that its network, services, and teams are well equipped to support its customers. At this year’s GITEX, Etisalat is demonstrating a wide range of advanced solutions for enhanced distance learning and remote working in line with its strategy of ‘Driving the digital future to empower societies’,” said Abdulla Ebrahim Al Ahmed, Senior Vice President, Government Sales, Etisalat.
