IFA 2018 Global Press Conference: What to expect

New products to be on show from household appliances to high-end TVs.

While most of you may know IFA that takes place in Berlin, another event in the form of Global Press Conference will take place in Rome next week. This event will see various companies doing power briefings and product showcases that will highlight some of the new stuff you will see at IFA this year.

Here’s a rundown of what companies have in store for the IFA 2018 Global Press Conference:

Beurer – Managing Director and Shareholder Georg Walkenbach will be presenting various products and apps that focus on health and well-being.

Miele – Managing Director and Co-Proprietor Dr. Reinhard Zinkann will be showcasing the latest in elegant cuisine through the use of commercial high-end appliances.

WMF Group – Tableware manufacturer will be showcasing its latest line of KITCHENminis and Fusiontech appliances during the conference.

Philips (Liat) – The company’s latest innovations in oral health, skin care, and sleep will be highlighted during the conference. A special focus on its SmartSleep solution will be shown that includes the world’s first clinically proven solution for users who do not get enough sleep. It will also help raise awareness on the importance of sleep, which could contribute to other illnesses if not corrected.

TCL – The company’s latest displays will be demoed during the conference, and will now introduce artificial intelligence to its product line. Additionally, it will show its line of displays that now operate on Android along with technologies such as Quantum Dot for an even better viewing experience.

Sharp – A bold announcement was promised by the company which we predict is its new bezel-less displays that support up to 8k in resolution.

Other companies are also scheduled to make an appearance, including Fitbit and Huawei.
