Darker is better.

Android 10 finally has native support for Dark Mode. The addition of a system-wide dark setting has been proven to reduce strain when using your smartphone at night or in the dark. It has also been proven to preserve battery life especially with new smartphones that now use an OLED display.

Other Android smartphones from Samsung, OnePlus and Huawei have already implemented Dark Mode on their own skins but if you own a Google Pixel or Android One device running the stock version of Android, here is how you can turn on Dark Mode.

Note that you need to have Android 10 installed for this to work.

From your home screen, go to Settings

Once there, head on to the Display menu

Inside, you will immediately see the option to turn on Dark Theme

Turning that on immediately makes the entire UI of your smartphone in a darker shade

You can also create a shortcut on the Quick Settings menu on the Notifications Panel of your Android device

Do you enjoy Dark Mode more than than the usual themes on Android? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
