May 27, 2021

A camera for all occasions.

The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G’s cameras are already considered to be one of the best in the market and to prove this claim we brought the smartphone with us on a day out, shooting images and videos to see how it would perform in real-world scenarios.

Various improvements on the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G already make it a photography expert thanks to its top-of-the-line hardware and features offered by ColorOS 11.1. The smartphone features a quad-camera setup headlined by the Sony IMX766 50-megapixel main sensor along with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-camera, 13-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Selfie lovers will also enjoy the 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

We visited Al Seef at the Dubai Creek and decided to visit the Museum of Illusions, which should be a great venue to try out the cameras of the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G. The various subjects and environments inside the museum can properly gauge how the cameras can really perform.

The native camera app of the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G already has a plethora of shooting modes available for you to use without the need to install third-party apps. The usual shooting modes are available: Night Mode, Portrait, Slo-Mo, Timelapse, Portrait, Film, Expert, Macro and Panorama. It can even shoot up to 4K 60 fps video. But our favourite mode is Dual-View, a function that lets you shoot videos simultaneously from the front and rear cameras of the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G that is perfect for vloggers.

Right from the moment we walked in the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G did not disappoint. Thanks to Focus Tracking, moving objects are always in focus so each image or video that I take is blur-free. AI Highlight Video combines the power of Ultra Night Video and Live HDR to deliver crystal clear videos even when it is shot at night.

What is more, the built-in editing tools of ColorOS 11.1 also mean that you can readily edit your images right from the Photos app. Another app that comes pre-installed on the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G is SoLoop, a video editing app that comes with a variety of tools that can help make your videos shine. You can trim, cut, add titles, place music and more with SoLoop and there are even templates for you to use if you want a quick edit.

With all these features packed inside, it’s no wonder that anyone can now express their creative sides with the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G. Thanks to the combined power of the cameras and ColorOS 11.1, the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5 clearly is a photography powerhouse right in your pocket.
