Smart Wearables: No more smartwatches for LG, Motorola and Huawei?

September 19, 2016

Are these companies jumping off the smartwatch bandwagon?

Motorola, LG and Huawei were among the first companies to offer smartwatches that run the Android Wear operating system. And in the past years, these companies have churned out various new smartwatches that match the needs of the users.

But in the past months, these companies have been awfully quiet about announcing new Android Wear devices, and somehow word is spreading around that either company is interested in making new devices.

Would that spell the end of smartwatches? Or are users finding less reasons to buy one? Given as that Apple has just released the successor to the Apple Watch and got fairly average reviews, maybe not everyone wants to hop on the smartwatch bandwagon.

What do you think about smartwatches? Are they a necessary accessory for everyone? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
