T3’s Top 10 Wireless Headphones
November 4, 2019

Time to cut the wire.

Nearly all devices at the moment have some form of wireless technology that supports it, and with smartphones ditching the beloved 3.5 mm jack more wireless headphones have popped up for you to enjoy.

Sure, you can still use the same wired headphones – but the demand for wireless devices is slowly increasing, which is why companies have started developing technologies that will preserve the sound quality even on a wireless signal.

If you’re on the lookout for a new wireless headphone, here’s a rundown at some of our favorites:

Sony WF-1000XM3 (899 AED) – Probably the best on the entire list, the WF-1000XM3 provides excellent audio performance and active noise cancellation – too bad they’re not sweatproof.

Apple AirPods (Starts from 679 AED) – These simple Apple-made wireless earphones deliver a decent listening experience. It’s clearly made for Apple users since pairing AirPods to your device will also automatically pair it with every Apple device that you own under the same ID.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless (1,249 AED) – It’s a little on the premium side price-wise, but the Momentum True Wireless produces sound that you won’t hear from other headphones. It retains the classic earbud shape so it’s ‘barely there’ when you’re wearing it.

Samsung Galaxy Buds (359 AED) – The Galaxy Buds is to Samsung devices as the AirPods is to Apple devices – the only difference is that the Galaxy Buds can support nearly an Android device (and technically the iPhone as well). They’re small, easy to use and even charges wirelessly.

Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro (550 AED) – Sound quality has been greatly improved compared to the first version, which is why this wireless headphones from Anker is a decent substitute if you’re looking for a lesser-priced option.

Beats Powerbeats Pro (799 AED) – Bass lovers will definitely enjoy the Powerbeats Pro. Along with water and sweat resistance support, it’s clearly the top choice for fitness buffs who need wireless headphones when working out. It’s powered by the same chip that’s found on the AirPods, so expect the best compatibility when used with an Apple device.

Jabra Elite 65t Earbuds (498 AED) – Design-wise, we’re loving the Elite 65t from Jabra. It combines a perfect balance of sound quality and features, not to mention the incredibly long battery life which made us look past beyond its flaws.

Bang & Olufsen Beoplay E8 (1,299 AED) – It’s more on the luxurious side, but the Beoplay E8 comes with an awesome design and sound that you can expect from the B&O brand.

Bose SoundSport Free (839 AED) – Made for the active user, the SoundSport Free is Bose’s wireless solution to enjoy your tunes while working out. It’s compact and easy to use, where it managed to switch flawlessly between devices when we were using it.

Apple AirPods Pro (999 AED) – The upgraded ‘Pro’ version of the AirPods now supports active noise cancellation, which greatly improves the sound quality of these headphones. It is also sweat- and water-resistant, meaning that it’s the perfect companion at the gym when you want to workout and drown out all the background noise.
