Top 10 Games We Can’t Wait to Play in 2021

January 20, 2021

What’s on your list?

Despite what happened, 2020 was still a big year for games. Aside from the release of the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S, multiple games like The Last of Us Part II, Ghosts of Tsushima, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and even Among Us went on to be some of the best.

With 2020 now behind us, everyone is now marking their calendars (and saving up) for the next game to come out. We got more than 50 games on our must-play list, but here are the top games that we can’t wait to play in 2021:

Halo Infinite (Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC) – Originally a launch title for the Xbox Series X/S, Halo Infinite sees the return of Master Chief as the main character. Hopefully, they’ve sorted out the issues and deliver the Halo game we’ve all been waiting for.

Hitman 3 (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Stadia, Switch, and PC) – Launching today, Hitman 3 concludes the story of Agent 47 in one of the most important contracts of his career. Expect lots of large set pieces, including our very own Dubai.

Back 4 Blood (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – We might not get another Left 4 Dead, but its makers are introducing Back 4 Blood, which brings a similarly first-person cooperative gameplay that puts you and your team against the undead.

Evil Dead: The Game (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC) – Ash is back to battle the dead in this spin-off from the popular horror movie franchise.

Far Cry 6 (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Stadia, Switch, and PC) – Ubisoft brings this sixth main installment of the Far Cry franchise that brings Giancarlo Esposito as the dictator that you would need to fight.

God of War: Ragnarok (PS5) –  This much-awaited sequel to the God of War series will see Kratos battling the God of Thunder, Thor.

Horizon Forbidden West (PS5) – This highly anticipated sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn continues Aloy’s story as she traverses a new frontier.

The Outlast Trials (TBA) – The third installment of one of the scariest games ever will serve as a prequel to the first two games set against a mysterious Cold War experiment.

Resident Evil Village (PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – This survival horror franchise has been eagerly awaited by fans, and continues the story of Ethan who was first introduced in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (PS5) – This PlayStation exclusive brings Ratchet and Clank at odds with their famous archnemesis, Dr. Nefarious, who is now equipped with a dangerous device called the Dimensionator that lets him travel to other dimensions.
