The Dubai International Motor Show 2019 is back and will feature a variety of amazing supercars and motorbikes from various automotive manufacturers. The show, which runs every other year, will showcase the best and the latest in car designs, driving technology, tuning and custom gear.

Running from November 12-16, 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Center, the show will also have various activities not just for car enthusiasts but also for families.

If you’re planning to visit the Dubai International Motor Show, here are some things worth checking out:

Meet Eddie Jordan – Formula One legend Eddie Jordan will be present during the event. One of the most prominent figures in the business, he founded Jordan Grand Prix team in 1991 and gave a young Michael Schumacher his debut – and the rest, they say, is history. Jordan will be available on the 14th and 15 of November at 6 pm.

Supercar Alley – Supercars are already a common sight in Dubai but just in case you would want to see them all in one roof, the motor show will have a dedicated Supercar Alley where you can see all of them and if you’re lucky, maybe even get a chance to chat with the owners.

Expect to see supercars like the Lamborghini Veneno that costs a whopping $10 million or the super limited edition Bugatti Veyron. If you’re lucky you might even catch a glimpse of the Pagani Huayra or the Bugatti Chiron during the show.

Classic Cars – If classic cars are your thing, you can head to another part of the motor show where you’ll get to see cars from every time period. An auction will also take place for car admirers who want to be nostalgic.

Tomini Classics, who specialize in post-war sportscars, will have more than 100 cars on display during the motor show. What’s more, collectors will have the chance to own vintage European, Japanese and American classic during a fast-paced auction.

Future Mobility – The latest in car technology will be showcased in this part of the motor show. Everything from autonomous driving to virtual reality test drives can be seen and experienced – you might even get the chance to witness car launches in augmented reality.

Visitors will also get the chance to check out Pop.Up Next, a new concept of transportation that “combines the flexibility of a small two-seater ground vehicle with the freedom and speed of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) air vehicle.”

Kids will also have the chance to design their own cars and it will be recreated by professional car designers as 3D models in an exclusive exhibition made for the little ones.

The Dubai Police will also demo its AI-driven initiatives to ensure a clean and safe environment. Everything from the new E-crime service to the Dubai Police’s smart police station is on display and yes, including those fancy supercars that you see on the news.

Outdoor Adrenaline – Enjoy drifting? Then head to the outdoors areas of the motor show to witness expert drift drivers as they burn their tires as they navigate bends.

Red Bull will also host a Bike Stunt show with the region’s best stunt riders, Mike Jensen and Shadi Dhaheri on November 15 – 16 from 1 pm to 9 pm.

Test Drive Fiesta – If you’re early and you have a valid driving license, you can register and get the chance to drive the latest cars on a designated 4-kilometer route at the venue.

Drive In, Tune Out – Drivers who are fans of tuning out their cars should also visit the motor show. There will be a dedicated section for car lovers that love to customize their rides – you can even chat with professional tuners. What’s more, five cars will have the opportunity to modify their rides at the show.
