How To Check and Cancel Subscriptions on iOS
April 29, 2020

Manage your subscriptions with this how-to guide.

A bulk of apps now include subscriptions, where you get to unlock more features. The problem with most apps though is that once you subscribe, it automatically renews monthly or yearly depending on the plan that you are using.

Some of these apps offer a free trial, but as we mentioned these subscriptions get renewed automatically without you knowing. This, in turn, could surprise you with a very large bill at the end of the month.

If you own an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, here is an easy way for you to check your ongoing subscriptions and how to cancel them:

Head to ‘Settings’ from your home screen.

Tap your name located on top of the Settings menu.

Once inside, tap ‘Subscriptions’.

Inside the Subscriptions menu, you will get an overview of your active subscriptions along with the expired ones.

Tap an active subscription to see the rates you’re paying and when the subscription will expire. Tapping on a checkmark will disable auto-renew on that particular subscription.

The same process is similar when using the iPad and the iPod touch.
