How To Shoot Quick Videos the iPhone 11
November 10, 2019

Take a video as soon as you open the camera app.

If you own the iPhone 11, Apple has made it easier to capture videos. This new ‘quick video’ feature is embedded right inside the stock Camera app.

Here’s how you can do it (or you can  watch the video above as well):

  1. Open the Camera app
  2. Tap and hold the shutter button to immediately take a video. Lifting your finger will stop the video recording or you can drag it to the lock icon so it will continue recording.
  3. At this stage, you can also take images while it is recording.
  4. Note however that the video recording through this process will only be at a 1920-by-1440 resolution. If you want to record a 4K video, you would have to go to the Video tab inside the Camera app.
  5. Alternatively, pressing and swiping the shutter will immediately take burst photos.
