Radionovelli 4G radio might just be the product for you.

Italian company Radionovelli was on the show floor during the IFA 2018 Global Press Conference. Its primary product on display is a 4G-connected radio that lets you listen to internet radio using a 4G SIM card that can also seamlessly transition to FM and DAB without any problems.

It runs on Android, which means you can install apps and view it on the 7-inch display of this retro-looking device. An Android-based OS also means that you can install your favorite music apps like Spotify, Pandora and Apple Music.

Radionovelli also learns from your playlists and with one touch on an artist name and it can immediately pull out links to different radio stations that offer music from the same artist.

There’s also a nifty feature where you can choose advertisements that you will actually be interested in. This means that the advertisements you will get will be more like information on the stuff that you actually want.

It’s a nifty little device – though the asking price at the moment is about 1000 Euros – that’s almost 4500 dirhams. It may be a hard sell, but its makers are optimistic that the device will have its audience. The Radionovelli 4G Radio will be present during IFA 2018 in Berlin this coming August.
